Class Three (3) Driver Training

This Class 3 Driver Training Program was developed to train drivers in the correct and safe operation of a Class three (3) tandem axle truck. This prepares the student to work in various fields including, gravel truck, vacuum truck, garbage or recycling trucks and many more areas are open to the student. The student trains in a full size highway tractor with an 15 speed road ranger style transmission. During this training the student will learn the timing of shifts up and down, the art of observation, road position and pre trip inspection along with other details in preparation for their road test at the motor vehicle branch. This program has no minimum hours of instruction required.
 
The AVERAGE student spends 18 hours in this type of training @ $83.00 Per Hour

Extra costs to the student

There are some extra costs that the student is responsible for and they are as follows:

  1. Obtaining an Air Brake endorsement
  2. Motor Vehicle Branch Air Brake written test $15.00
  3. Motor Vehicle Branch Class Three (3) Learners License $15.00
  4. Road Test Fee $50.00
  5. Licensing Fee $17.00
  6. BC Medical Examination Approx. $50.00 (depending on your doctors fees)
  7. Medical Form Processing Fee $28.00
